「キタノアオ-Northern Blue-」は、白岩焼(しらいわやき)の特徴である表情豊かな青い海鼠釉（なまこゆう）を生かしたシリーズ。海鼠釉は、あきたこまちのモミの灰など地元産の材料を中心に自然由来の素材のみを使って作れています。優しくも鮮やかな青色はさまざまな肌の色にしっとりと馴染みます。横幅6mmほどの小さな陶器パーツながら、シャープな形と海鼠釉の色合いによって奥ゆかしい存在感を漂わせます。冬の晴天に輝く雪のように、その日一日を優しく照らしてくれる、そんなアクセサリーです。

“Northern Blue" is a series that utilizes the expressive Namako glaze that is characteristic of Shiraiwa pottery. This glaze is made using only materials of natural origin, mainly local materials such as Akita Komachi fir ash. The gentle yet vivid blue color blends seamlessly with a variety of skin tones.

Although it is a small ceramic part measuring only 6mm in width, its sharp shape and the color of the "Namako glazed" give it a profound presence. Like snow shining on a sunny winter day, this accessory gently illuminates the day.
